Indian Hills Dining

Our dining rooms will make you feel comfortable from the moment that you walk through the door. We want you to feel as though you have just arrived at your second home.

Our friendly staff members are dedicated to making you feel welcome, just like a member of the family. Whatever your needs may be, we will be there in anticipation to fulfill them.

Join us in The Overlook, Wednesday through Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, for a chef inspired dining experience, as well as a full bar with spectacular views of the golf course. Lunch is offered as well, Wednesday through Friday, from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm and a fabulous, ala carte Sunday Brunch is available from 11:00 am until 1:30pm each week. Reservations are encouraged and guests are welcome to dine with IHCC members.

Winey Wednesday in The Overlook Bar from 6:00 to 9:00 pm is always a great time with full menu and half-priced wine. Bartender is on duty beginning at 5:00pm for early drinks.

Martini Thursday in The Overlook Bar offers one more opportunity to get together with friends and family for dinner and drinks. $4 martinis and a full dinner menu beginning at 6pm each week.

The 19th Hole is a second dining option. It is open 7 days a week with a more casual menu making it a perfect spot for a leisurely lunch, business meeting or a quick bite before starting a round of golf. The 19th Hole closes at 5pm each day.

Paul Kerr

Executive Chef

Chef Kerr brings a multitude of experience with regard to catering and restaurant operations. Paul is a long-time Tuscaloosa resident and cut his teeth at several local restaurants in Tuscaloosa and Baldwin County. As Executive Chef he brings tremendous ability and creativity to the dining experience at Indian Hills.

Dave Leopard

Sous Chef

Dave was born in Decatur Alabama, but raised in Tuscaloosa.  He has worked in the hospitality industry since the age of 15.  Dave graduated in 2004 from the University of Alabama with a degree in hotel and restaurant management.  He has worked in Nashville, San Francisco, Orange Beach and Jackson Hole.  Dave’s main focus at the Club is our weekly banquet functions and special events.

Glenda Harris

Sous Chef, 19th Hole

Glenda Harris joined Indian Hills in April 2021. She is an Alabama native and graduated from Northside High School. She attended the University of Alabama and Johnson & Wales University where she received her culinary degree.  Her career took her to south Florida where she worked in management at Flanigan’s Seafood Bar & Grill until family lured her back to Alabama in 2014. She managed the deli department at Fresh Market for 3 years until finally joining the staff at IHCC. She has quickly become a member favorite bartending in the Overlook Bar and running the 19th Hole kitchen.

Glenda is a spin instructor in her leisure time, enjoys sports and spending quality time with her husband. She also devotes time to raising money for charities.

Sam Owens

Food and Beverage Director

Sam, a native of Tuscaloosa, attended Paul W. Bryant High School and upon graduation attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has been in the hospitality industry for 12 years while finding his passion working in the Country Club setting. Sam enjoys traveling in his free time and is thrilled with the opportunity to come back and continue his career in his hometown.

Samuel Ackah

Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Samuel Essuah Ackah, a Ghanaian from west Africa, is currently a resident of Tuscaloosa Alabama. He joined the Indian Hills staff in 2023 but has been working in the hospitality industry since 2006. He’s held titles such as Outlet Manager with Movenpic Ambassador Hotel and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Kempinski Gold Coast hotel, all in Ghana.
